Workshops
Our program's mission will service the underserviced and unserved communities of color by offering free dance workshops to the youth in the communities. With an effort to bring joy, hope, and love to those we serve through charity acts of kindness. Bringing the free dance workshops to these communities can offer the opportunity to break down some of the financial constraints that prevent them from accessing due to transportation, family dynamics, and finances. Our workshops will provide dance education, promote self-confidence, inner personal growth skills, leadership skills, a healthy lifestyle, and offer a positive & welcoming environment to the youth in the communities.
Performances
At PS Traveling Dance Company, our performances are a dynamic and captivating display of artistry, passion, and creativity. With every choreographed routine, we aim to transport our audience into a world of emotion, storytelling, and sheer joy. Whether it's a graceful ballet piece, an energetic hip-hop routine, or a mesmerizing contemporary performance, our dancers captivate audiences with their technical precision, expressive movements, and infectious energy. Each performance is a testament to the dedication, talent, and hard work of our dancers, leaving a lasting impact on both the hearts and minds of those who witness the power of dance. Through our performances, we strive to inspire, uplift, and ignite a love for the art form, connecting with audiences on a deeply emotional and transformative level.
Mission Statement
Our mission, The youth and young adult performers of PS Traveling Dance Company can participate in traveling experiences to local events in Kings County and surrounding communities where we get invited for our give back projects to provide free dance and performing arts workshops, dance scholarships to the disadvantaged of all communities and share our mission in several communities locally and world-wide, teach dance/ performing arts to as many as possible to bring positive messaging through performing arts that will impact making a difference in different local developing communities and of the world.
In efforts to make a difference, our traveling dance company will do acts of charity, kindness, and hope to the world, all of which will cultivate performers' growth and career growth.
