Mission and Vision
Our mission is to provide free dance and performance workshops, to individuals from underprivileged communities. Through these initiatives, we aim to empower and uplift disadvantaged individuals by giving them access to high-quality dance education and performance opportunities. We believe in the transformative power of dance and its ability to inspire, build confidence, and create positive change in the lives of those who need it the most.
Our vision is to create a world where dance is accessible to all, regardless of their socioeconomic background. We envision a society where disadvantaged individuals are given equal opportunities to pursue their passion for dance and unleash their full potential. By offering free dance and performance workshops, we strive to break down barriers and foster an inclusive community that celebrates diversity, creativity, and the joy of movement. Through our efforts, we aspire to inspire individuals to dream big, overcome obstacles, and build a brighter future through the transformative power of dance.
Programs and Activities
Dance Workshops:
Our organization offers a diverse range of free dance workshops for individuals of all ages and skill levels. These workshops are designed to provide a supportive and inclusive environment where participants can explore different dance styles, learn new techniques, and express themselves through movement. Led by experienced instructors, our workshops aim to ignite a passion for dance and foster a sense of self-confidence and creativity in every participant.
Performance Workshops:
Through our free performance workshops, we provide opportunities for individuals to refine their dance skills and learn the art of stage performance. These workshops focus on choreography, stage presence, and overall performance quality. Participants will have the chance to showcase their talents in our annual dance recitals and community events, where they can share their passion with a wider audience and gain valuable performance experience.
Community Outreach Programs:
We believe in the power of dance to bring communities together. Our organization actively engages in community outreach programs, partnering with local schools, community centers, and organizations to provide dance workshops and performances to individuals who may not otherwise have access to such opportunities. These programs aim to promote social cohesion, encourage self-expression, and instill a sense of unity and belonging within diverse communities.
Collaborative Projects:
Give back projects will be done at least once per month in communities that desire the project event. This event is where our organization will provide free dance and performing arts workshops to youth and young adults of local communities and offer a small showcase with a minimal fee to showcase what the participants learned. Along with offering the serviced community any charity acts that can be helpful to the community we are servicing. Such as distributing canned goods, coats, socks, hygiene needs, toys for children, in hopes to bring out love and joy to developing communities. This event will be supported by donations, sponsors and grants.
Mentorship Programs:
Our organization recognizes the importance of mentorship in nurturing emerging talent. We offer mentorship programs where experienced dancers and professionals in the field provide guidance, support, and advice to aspiring dancers. These mentorship opportunities help individuals refine their skills, set goals, and navigate the dance industry, ultimately empowering them to pursue successful careers in dance.
Dance Events and Showcases:
We organize and host various dance events and showcases throughout the year, bringing together dancers from different backgrounds and styles to celebrate the art of dance. These events provide platforms for performers to showcase their talent, connect with fellow dancers, and inspire audiences. From intimate studio showcases to large-scale productions, our events aim to create memorable experiences that showcase the beauty and diversity of dance.
Community Engagement
Community engagement lies at the core of PS Traveling Dance Company's mission, as we believe in the power of dance to create positive change and build stronger communities. History and Background
Welcome to PS Traveling Dance Company, a newly established non-profit organization in 2023. We are deeply passionate about dance and believe in its ability to bring joy, unity, and spiritual fulfillment to individuals' lives. Our journey began with the founder, who has been dancing since the age of 3, and in 2007, experienced a profound calling to serve Jesus through the art of dance.
As a traveling dance company, we bring our dynamic performances, dance workshops, and outreach programs to various communities, reaching individuals who may not have access to professional dance training or performance opportunities. Our aim is to inspire, uplift, and empower individuals from all walks of life, particularly those who are disadvantaged or marginalized.
Through our traveling dance company, we aspire to spread the message of love, faith, and hope through the language of dance. Our performances are not only a display of talent and skill but also a testament to the transformative power of dance as a means of expressing devotion and spirituality.
We offer a range of programs and activities, including free dance workshops, scholarships for aspiring dancers, collaborative projects with local communities and organizations, and mentorship programs. These initiatives are designed to nurture talent, provide opportunities for growth, and instill confidence in our dancers.

"Passion creates unity and unity creates the kingdom of God! Dance and Jesus, are my biggest passions! I've danced all my life, since the age of 3. But it wasn't until 2007 when I felt called to serve Jesus, by using dance as a tool to bring others closer to him. Which is why I now believe my passion of dance and Jesus, has created a sense of unity amongst all who walk through P.A.T.Y.'Studio doors. Our family oriented dance studio has brought many to obtain the skill and talent needed to uphold a dance education. But within our dance education, we also teach that our passions can create the kingdom of God. By using our God given talents to love and serve God. This overall value has brought many to live a life of joy, and love for Jesus. I am honored to assure that our dance education and performing arts curriculum will create strong dancers and performers, obtain self-confidence, bring out life skills, create friendships that convert into family type bonds, uplift all with joy and positivity because of the positive, energetic environment we strive to give, and most importantly teach our dance family to love Jesus as we dance for Jesus! These are all my biggest reasons for always striving as director of P.A.T.Y.'Studio to assure your dancer and family will always receive the best, positive, family oriented, excelling curriculum, love and care you each deserve! So, we welcome you into our dance family! May we all dance one dance at a time, as we all unite to create the Kingdom of God! "
